Ukraine Day
On Monday the 21st of March 2022, the families of Shorne raised £349.77 by wearing Yellow and Blue in support of those affected by the events in Ukraine. The sea of yellow and blue in the school yesterday was a wonderful display of unity and support for those affected by the current conflict.
The children will soon receive their sunflowers (the national flower of Ukraine) to nurture at home and bring back to plant, and we are looking forward to receiving any pebbles the children choose to paint to spread the message of hope and love across our school community in support of those affected by this crisis.
